Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s belongs to a group of medicines called androgens indicated for the replacement therapy in males for conditions associated with insufficiency of endogenous testosterone such as acquired or congenital primary hypogonadism and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. Hypogonadism is a condition in which the gonads (testes in men and ovaries in women) produce insufficient sex hormones.

Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s contains Testosterone, which helps in replenishing the deficient testosterone levels in adult men. Thereby, Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s helps in treating hypogonadism. Testosterone is the anabolic steroid and primary sex hormone in males, which plays an important role in the development of male reproductive tissues such as the prostate and testes.

Take Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s as prescribed. You are advised to take Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as weight gain, headache, anxiety, breast swelling, male pattern baldness, increased facial or body hair growth, increased/decreased interest in sex. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s may also be used in women to treat certain types of breast cancer, which has spread to other body parts.

Take Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s with or without food. Your doctor will advise for how long you need to take Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s depending upon your medical condition.Injection: A healthcare professional will administer Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s. Do not self-administer.Gel: Apply Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s to clean, dry, and intact skin of upper arms, shoulders, and/or abdomen. After the gel has dried, cover the application site with clothing. Wash your hands immediately with soap and water after using Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s. Do not apply Himdriol Softgel Capsule 10’s to any other body parts such as chest, back, or genitals. Be sure to wash the application site with soap and water prior to any situation where skin-to-skin contact of the application site with other person is anticipated.
